Here’s a sneak peak at what I’m currently working on. My intention over this holiday season is to catch up on art projects. Having injured my knee recently, making art has been very therapeutic. It’s funny timing actually, because I haven’t booked any residential house painting gigs. It may be a bit of time before my body can paint houses again. It’s what I do part-time to make steady income when money made from my art practice is not yet a full-time gig. Another interesting way to offer my services as an artist, is to trade. This piece above is a commission I’m working on for Jonathan, an osteotherapist. In exchange, he’s working on correcting the scoliosis in my back. It’s a great way to share our talents without using currency.
PS: When my knee is healed I am SO organizing a group bicycle ride!
